We will have snow today, with the heaviest of the snow now
looking to be this afternoon.
Total accumulations should be in the 2-3 inch range in most locations,
with up to 4 inches possible in some locations in far eastern sections. The snow may continue until this evening
although there could very well be some breaks from time to time. After this storm passes things should warm up
quite a bit as we head into this weekend with temperatures in the 50’s on
Saturday and possibly the 60’s on Sunday.
There will also be a chance of some showers on Friday through Sunday, with
rain likely Sunday night into Monday morning.
Temperatures will then drop quite dramatically during the day on
Monday. We will then have just a slight
chance of some snow for Christmas day or next Friday, with a chance of snow
showers next weekend. After that the
next storm to watch will likely occur on New Year’s Eve.
