Tuesday, August 26, 2014 - Morning Weather Discussion

The developing hurricane in the Bahamas will move due north, staying well north of the East Coast and only affecting Bermuda and the shipping lanes...

Today will be mostly sunny and warm with highs in the mid 80’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy and hot with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches and warm air surges north into our area.  The high tomorrow will be in the upper 80’s.

Thursday through Saturday will then be mostly sunny with highs mainly in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy and hot, with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon or at night, as a cold front approaches and warm air surges north into our area.  The high Sunday will be in the upper 80’s.

Monday (Labor Day) will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high in the mid 80’s.

Next Tuesday should be mostly sunny with a high in the mid 80’s.

Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy and hot, with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon or at night, as a cold front approaches and warm air surges north into our area.  The high next Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 80’s.

Next Thursday through Saturday should be mostly sunny with a high gradually rising from the low 80’s to the upper 80’s.

Next Sunday should be variably cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms as another cold front approaches our area.  Highs should be in the mid 80’s.

Next Monday should be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70’s.
