It will be warm this week and cool next week with unsettled
weather scattered throughout the period.
There is also a chance of a hurricane developing in the Gulf of Mexico and
heading toward the Texas Gulf Coast toward the end of the period.
Today there will be variably cloudy skies with a chance of a
shower or thunderstorm and highs in the mid 80’s.
Tomorrow there will be increasing cloudiness in the morning
followed by a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon or evening
with a high in the upper 80’s.
Wednesday through Friday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures
rising from the low 80’s to the upper 80’s.
Next weekend there will be a chance of showers and
thunderstorms both days with high temperatures in the mid 80’s on Saturday,
dropping to the mid 70’s next Sunday.
Next Monday through the following Sunday will remain cool
with highs mainly in the 70’s with a chance of showers and thunderstorms next
Wednesday and Friday. There will also be
a chance of a tropical system cutting across the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico
and heading into the Western Gulf of Mexico around 10-14 days from now. This storm could intensify to hurricane status
as it heads toward the Texas Gulf Coast.
