We will have warm temperatures this week, followed by cooler
temperatures next week with unsettled weather scattered throughout the
period. There may even be a hurricane in
the Gulf of Mexico toward the end of next week…
It will be hot today with a high in the mid to upper 80’s
but there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm tonight.
Tomorrow and Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the
low 80’s tomorrow and the mid 80’s on Thursday.
Friday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a
shower or thunderstorm and a high in the mid 80’s.
This weekend there will be showers and thunderstorms that
could be heavy at times on Saturday, possibly lingering into Sunday
morning. The high on Saturday will be in
the mid 80’s, dropping to the mid 70’s on Sunday.
Monday and next Tuesday should be mostly sunny with highs
mainly in the mid 70’s.
Next Wednesday through Saturday there will be a chance of
showers and thunderstorms with highs mainly in the 70’s.
Next Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in
the low to mid 70’s.
There is a chance of a tropical system crossing the Yucatan
Peninsula from the Caribbean Sea and heading into the Gulf of Mexico late next
week. If it did this, it could strengthen
to hurricane status prior to making landfall in Mexico or Southern Texas. We shall see.
