Localized Very Heavy Rains Over Northeast NJ

There are localized very heavy rains over parts of Northeastern NJ and one very small storm near Green Township and Byram in Sussex County.  These storms are not moving at all and are dropping very heavy rains as a result.

These storms were not expected but are the result of the Nor'easter developing that I have been talking about for 2 weeks now.  I was seeing the signs of this being a potentially powerful Nor'easter for 2 weeks.  It is now happening.

The rains will become widespread tomorrow night as the Nor'easter starts to intensify. Winds will also increase tomorrow evening.

Water spouts and hail were seen in parts of coastal NJ this afternoon.

Yeah, I nailed this one from like two weeks out.

Have a nice evening.
