No white Christmas for us, in fact it may hit 60 degrees on
Christmas Eve!!!
We will have variably cloudy skies through Monday with highs
in the mid 30’s today and tomorrow and around 40 on Monday.
Monday evening a weak area of low pressure will approach our
area (this was supposed to be the big snowstorm for tonight and Sunday),
bringing us some light snow or rain on Monday evening that will change to rain
overnight on Monday night. The snow
could accumulate to a dusting in some locations before it changes to rain.
Tuesday we will have light rain and showers with highs in
the low 40’s.
Christmas Eve we will have rain, heavy at times, as an area
of low pressure develops along the East Coast and takes an inland path,
allowing warm air to surge northward up the East Coast with highs near 60!
Expect heavy travel
delays up and down the East Coast on Christmas Eve with the heavy rain and
strong winds. And for those of you heading south to
Florida for the holiday; remember that my dad owns a real estate company
in Florida. Click here to view his company website.
Christmas Day we will have variably cloudy skies with highs
in the low 40’s.
Friday should be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40’s.
Next Saturday we will have increasing cloudiness in the
morning with showers in the afternoon and evening and highs around 50 as warm
air surges northward again ahead of an approaching cold front.
Next Sunday will be variably cloudy and colder behind the
cold front with a chance of a snow shower in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 30’s all day.
Next Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 30’s.
Next Tuesday and New Year’s Eve we will have a chance of
snow with highs in the low 30’s.
New Year’s Day and next Friday we will have mostly sunny
skies and highs in the low 30’s.
