Tuesday, January 27, 2015 - Evening Weather Discussion

We may have missed the big one, but it looks as if a lot more snow may be on the way over the next two weeks...

I think the moral to the story is that if you want a blizzard, move to New England. They seem to get every one that we miss. Anyway, moving forward...

It will get very cold tomorrow morning with lows dropping to the single digits, but it should otherwise be nice through Thursday afternoon.

Thursday night into Friday morning a weak storm system will approach from the west that will likely bring us an inch or two of snow Thursday night into Friday morning.

Then a more important storm is likely to approach from the Southeastern United States on Sunday night.  This storm is likely to bring us a snowfall similar to the one of last Saturday for this coming Sunday night into Monday morning.

Then it will get very cold again and then a Nor'easter may form for next Thursday that could bring us yet another significant snowfall.

Then one more storm may bring us some snow next Saturday.

So, we didn't get the big one today but we may end up with that much snow on the ground by the end of the two-week period.

Join me in the morning for the latest.
