First the good news...
Tomorrow will be beautiful....
Then unfortunately, the front that is pushing through our area right now will stall out to our south tomorrow and then on Independence Day morning a low pressure area will form along this front. This low pressure area will strengthen and bring us showers and thunderstorms for Independence Day morning into the afternoon, possibly heavy at times. Although this may wash out your plans for Interdependence Day afternoon, things may very well clear out in time for the fireworks at night. However, this is a big bummer for all of you who had plans for parties in the afternoon. The time period from the morning through the mid afternoon is now looking like a wash-out.
If you have not already made plans and you live in Northwestern NJ, the fireworks and Independence Day celebration are pretty amazing at Allamuchy Township's Rutherford Hall. Click here to view the website for the festivities.
Sunday should then be nice, followed by more developing low pressure areas that will bring us showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon through Friday.
Next Saturday should then be nice before more showers and thunderstorms move in next Sunday.
Next Monday and Tuesday then look nice before more showers and thunderstorms return next Wednesday.
Highs temperatures should range from the mid 70's to the mid 80's through the period.
