Wednesday, April 27, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Lots of rainy and cool weather on the way with chances for frost and possibly significant snow in the Catskills, maybe…

We will have a lot of rainy and cool weather over the next 10 days as one storm after the other will approach our area, as well as several cold fronts.

Right now the most interesting storm of all appears to be a possible Nor’easter developing along the New Jersey Cost Sunday into Monday. If this storm does form, it would have the possibility to bring areas of the Catskill Mountains some significant snow.

As far as temperatures, highs should be mainly in the 50’s and 60’s but could be even lower Sunday and Monday if the Nor’easter develops and strengthens.  Lows could drop as low as the mid 30’s from time to time with chances for frost.

Highs will eventually rise prior to the end of the two-week period with highs likely surpassing 70 degrees.
