The heat will continue through Sunday and then for Memorial Day…

The heat will continue through Sunday with highs ranging from mainly the mid 80’s to the low 90’s, with some mid 90’s possible in Northeastern NJ today, Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be cooler along the coast, with highs there mainly around 70. There will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm tomorrow and a slight chance Saturday and Sunday.
Unfortunately, for Memorial Day it is looking as if showers and thunderstorms will be likely, especially in the morning when they could be heavy at times as a coastal disturbance and weak cold front approach. It does however appear as if it may clear out a bit for the afternoon and evening, maybe, so you might be able to get those barbecues done. Highs will range from the mid to upper 60’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island to the low to mid 80’s in East Central PA and Central and Northern NJ.
Tuesday and Wednesday should then be nice with highs in the low to mid 80’s.
Next Thursday and Friday look to be variably cloudy with a chance for showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches. Highs will be around 80.
Next weekend then looks nice and much cooler with highs in the low to mid 70’s.
Next Monday through Wednesday we will then have variably cloudy skies with a chance for showers and thunderstorms and highs in the low to mid 70’s.
