Chance of shower/thunderstorm this evening/tomorrow, then...

We will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this evening and tomorrow as one disturbance moved south of our area today and another will do the same tomorrow. Highs will be mainly in the 70's to low 80's.

This weekend then looks beautiful with highs mainly in the 80's.

Monday through Wednesday we will have to watch how fast or slow an approaching cold front is to move through our area. The data has been waffling back and forth between a very slow moving cold front bringing us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday, or a quicker front, bringing us showers and thunderstorms Monday, with only a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Tuesday and a nice day Wednesday. The latest data however is again suggesting a slow-moving front with a chance for showers and thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday. We will have to wait and see. Highs should be mainly in the 80's.

If the latest data is correct this would mean a slower pattern, giving us a chance of the next front moving in for next weekend with a chance of showers and thunderstorms next Saturday night and Sunday. Highs should be in the 80's.

Next Monday would then likely be nice, with the next chance of showers and thunderstorms next Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs should be in the 80's to low 90's next Monday through Wednesday.

Have a fantastic evening and please join me in the morning for the latest information...

Don’t forget to install the new Edge Weather app if you did not already do so.

Search “edgeweather” in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.

The fastest way to access the Edge Weather forecasts through the app is to click on the Edge Weather logo on the top third of the screen, or under the buttons for the Edge Weather Blog under the “About Edge Weather” and “Social Media” sections of the app.

Some improvements in the new app:

Useful links now available on the side bar that can be accessed by pressing the blue button on the top right of the screen. The useful links has access to key terms, local weather links, radar links, satellite links, and prior forecasts when I forecast storms from two weeks in advance.

Under "About Edge Weather" you will find links to some newspaper articles that I appeared in previously, as well as ways to submit photos or contact me.

Under "Social Media" you will find links to easily access Edge Weather on Twitter and on Facebook, as well as a new feature, “Edge Weather Forum”, where you can share any thoughts and ideas, and now Edge Weather YouTube videos!

Also added was an option to share the app with your friends in the "About Edge Weather" and "Social Media" sections of the app, as well as on the side bar, so please go ahead and share the app with your friends.

Enjoy and submit your recommendations under the appropriate link.  I am always looking for good ideas.
