Chance of showers/thunderstorms today AND tomorrow…

Well, another surprise was thrown at me this morning when I looked at the latest data. It now appears that not only will we have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm today as a vigorous area of low pressure passes to our south, but we will also have a chance of showers or thunderstorms tomorrow as a weak area of low pressure may form along the Middle Atlantic Coast tomorrow. That was not in any of the data that I looked at previously and I can’t guarantee it will happen at this point, but it is now in the forecast as a possibility for tomorrow.

So, for today, the vigorous low pressure area will pass to our south, bringing us a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, with showers and thunderstorms likely across Central NJ. Highs will be mainly in the 70’s to low 80’s.

Tomorrow it now appears possible that a low pressure area will form along the Middle Atlantic Coast. If this storm does form it would bring us some showers and thunderstorms tomorrow and highs mainly in the 70’s.

The weekend then looks fantastic with highs mainly in the 80’s, but the 70’s along the coast.

Monday and Tuesday we will have a good chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially Monday, as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the 70’s Monday, rising to the low to mid 80’s on Tuesday, as we should get some breaks of sun on Tuesday.

Wednesday looks quite nice, and a bit cooler behind the cold front, with highs mainly in the 70’s.

Next Thursday and Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the next cold front approaches our area. Highs will be mainly around 80.

Next Saturday looks quite nice behind the cold front with highs in the low to mid 80’s.

Next Sunday through Wednesday then look variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorms each day, and warm, with highs rising from the low to mid 80’s next Sunday to the mid to upper 80’s next Monday through Wednesday.

Have a fantastic day!

Also added was an option to share the app with your friends in the "About Edge Weather" and "Social Media" sections of the app, as well as on the side bar, so please go ahead and share the app with your friends.
