Tuesday, August 30, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Next chance for showers/thunderstorms is Thursday and then…

It will be nice today and tomorrow with highs mainly in the 80’s.

Thursday there will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Friday through next Tuesday then look quite nice with highs mainly from the upper 70’s to the mid 80’s.

Next Wednesday there will be a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs mainly in the low to mid 80’s.

Next Thursday then looks nice with highs mainly in the mid to upper 80’s.

Next Friday and Saturday there will be a chance of a showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches. Highs should be around 80.

Next Sunday and Monday then look nice with highs in the 70’s.

As for the weather in the tropics, there will be the potential for a hurricane to develop in the Gulf of Mexico and make landfall north of Tampa Thursday. This storm should remain south of our area.

Then there will be the potential for a Tropical Storm to develop off the Carolina Coast Tuesday, making landfall there on Wednesday. This storm could bring us a few showers or thunderstorms next Friday.
