Monday, September 19, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Showers/thunderstorms heavy at times today and then…

We will have showers and thunderstorm heavy at times this morning, then a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon or evening, possibly heavy at times south of about Rt. 80. Some clearing will then be possible north of about Rt. 80 by evening. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm along the coast and on Long Island. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s along the coast and on Long Island and in the low to mid 80’s inland.

Wednesday and Thursday should then be nice with highs in the mid to upper 70’s along the coast and on Long Island and in the low to mid 80’s inland.

Friday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a late day shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s along the coast and on Long Island and in the low to mid 80’s inland.

Saturday and Sunday then look nice with highs in the 70’s Saturday, dropping to the low to mid 60’s in most places Sunday.

Next Monday and Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s next Monday, rising to the mid to upper 70’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday and Thursday will be variably with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front slowly approaches our area. Highs will be in the 70’s next Wednesday and around 80 next Thursday.

Next Friday we will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s.

Next Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as some instability may remain behind the cold front. Highs will be in the mid 70’s.

Next Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60’s.
