Monday, September 26, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Some much needed rain is on the way…

Incredibly, my weather station recorded a low of 40 degrees again this morning.

We will have one more nice day today before an extended period of unsettled weather moves in tonight through next Monday. A cold front will move through tonight, bringing some showers or thunderstorms to our area and then a low pressure system will develop over the Middle Atlantic States Wednesday and will remain nearly stationary through next Monday. Highs will be mainly in the low to mid 70’s today and tomorrow, dropping to the mid 60’s to low 70’s Wednesday, the 60’s Thursday, and the mid 50’s to the mid 60’s Friday. Temperatures should then start to rise a bit to the mid 60’s to low 70’s Saturday, and the upper 60’s to the mid 70’s Sunday and Monday.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday then look nice as the storm finally moves away. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s in most places.

Next Thursday there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms in the morning as a cold front moves through our area. Highs should be around 70.

Next Friday through Sunday then look nice, but cool, with highs mainly in the low to mid 60’s.

Have a fantastic day!
