Watching Hurricane Matthew...

We will have a chance of showers again tomorrow, then just a slight chance Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 50's to mid 60's in most places tomorrow, the mid 60's to low 70's Monday, and the mid to upper 60's Tuesday.

Wednesday through Friday then look nice with highs in the mid 60's to low 70's.

Hurricane Matthew will move northward across Eastern Cuba, through the Bahamas, and then will continue north along the East Coast. It is still too early to tell exactly how close Matthew will come to the coast and if it will be close enough to have any effect on our weather. If Matthew were to come close enough, the timing would likely be next Saturday, and possibly Sunday. Click here for the latest on Hurricane Matthew from the National Weather Service.

Right now I am not forecasting any effects from Hurricane Matthew, as I am currently leaning towards the storm being just far enough off shore to not have any effect on our area.

We would still have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm next Saturday though, even if Matthew stays off shore, as a cold front will be approaching from the west. Highs will be in the mid 60's to low 70's.

Next Sunday and Monday should then be nice with highs in the mid 60's to low 70's Sunday and only the 50's next Monday.

Next Tuesday there will be a chance of a shower, as another cold front approaches. Highs should be in the low to mid 60's.

Next Wednesday and Thursday then look nice with highs in the mid 60's to low 70's.

Next Friday we will have a chance of showers or thunderstorms as yet another cold front approaches. Highs should be in the 60's to low 70's.
