Warmth on the way…
The low dropped to 32 degrees this morning at my weather station in Allamuchy, Warren County, NJ, with widespread frost and freezes in much of our area, but warmth is on the way...
Today and tomorrow will be nice, with just a slight chance of a shower tomorrow and then a good chance at night. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s today and the mid 60’s to low 70’s tomorrow.
Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s, except some upper 60’s along the coast.
Tuesday and Wednesday should then be nice and warm with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s inland Tuesday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s inland Wednesday.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s inland.
Friday there will be a chance of showers in the morning, followed by a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times in the afternoon and at night, and continuing into Saturday, as an approaching cold front is likely to combine with some tropical energy to produce a Nor’easter. Highs will be in the in the 60’s to mid 70’s Friday and the mid 40’s to mid 60’s Saturday from west to east from Northeastern PA to Eastern Long Island.
Next Sunday through Wednesday then look nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Sunday, the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Monday, the 50’s next Tuesday, and the low to mid 50’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday there will be a chance of rain with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower and highs in the upper 40’s to upper 50’s.
