Sunday, October 9, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Chance of the first frost or even freeze in some locations…

The rain will end this morning in Central NJ and on Western Long Island, and this afternoon on Eastern Long Island. It will be cool today with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.

Tomorrow through Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s tomorrow, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Tuesday, and the low to mid 60’s Wednesday. It will however be quite cool Monday and Tuesday mornings with the chance of a frost in the coldest locations of Northeastern PA Monday morning and a frost or freeze in the coldest locations of Northeastern PA Tuesday morning, with a frost possible in the coldest locations of East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY, and Fairfield County, CT, as lows could drop as low as the mid 30’s in the coldest locations.

Thursday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm and highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Friday through Sunday should then be mostly sunny with highs mainly in the low to mid 60’s.

Next Monday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of showers at night, ending next Tuesday morning. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s next Monday, and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday.

Next Wednesday then looks nice with highs in the mid 60’s.

Next Thursday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower at night and highs in the mid to upper 70’s.

Next Friday we will have variably cloudy skies with a chance of a shower and highs in the mid to upper 60’s.

Next Saturday then looks nice with highs in the mid 60’s.
