Thursday, October 13, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Chance of a shower or thunderstorm, then possibly quite warm for the middle of next week…

We will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon or evening as a cold front approaches. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s in Northeastern PA, the low to mid 60’s in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Southeastern NY State, and the mid to upper 60’s in Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT.

Tomorrow through Sunday will then be nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s tomorrow, the low to mid 60’s Saturday, and the mid to upper 60’s Sunday.

Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will rise from the mid 60’s to low 70’s Tuesday to the upper 70’s to the low 80’s inland on Wednesday.

Next Thursday we will have increasing cloudiness as an approaching cold front may combine with a tropical disturbance to from a storm in the Middle Atlantic States. This storm would bring us a chance of rain developing next Thursday evening and going through the day next Friday, possibly ending early next Saturday morning. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s next Thursday, dropping to the mid to upper 50’s next Friday, and the low to mid 60’s next Saturday.

Next Sunday we will have variably cloudy skies with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50’s.

Next Monday through Wednesday should then be nice with highs rising from the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Monday to the mid 60’s next Tuesday and the mid to upper 60’s next Wednesday.

Have a fantastic day!
