Nice until Thursday afternoon…
There are widespread frosts and even some freezes in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY and in Northern Fairfield County, CT this morning, as lows have dropped to the low 30’s in the coldest locations. The temperature dropped to 33 degrees at my weather station in Allamuchy Township, Warren County, NJ.
It will be nice today and tomorrow with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s today and the low to mid 60’s tomorrow.
Thursday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon or evening as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Friday through Sunday then look nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Friday, the upper 50’s to low 60’s Saturday and the mid to upper 60’s Sunday, except the low 60’s on Long Island.
Monday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 70’s, except the upper 60’s to low 70’s on Long Island.
Tuesday then looks nice with highs in the mid to upper 70’s, except the upper 60’s to low 70’s on Long Island and long the NJ Coast.
Next Wednesday we will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.
Next Thursday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain developing as a low pressure area may form along the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s.
Next Friday we will have a chance of rain with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Saturday through Monday then look nice with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Saturday, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday, and the mid to upper 50’s next Monday.
