Monday, November 14, 2016 - Evening Weather Discussion

Some rain tonight into tomorrow…

We will have some rain tonight into tomorrow, especially along the coast, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a weak Nor’easter develops along the Middle Atlantic Coast and moves northward through our area. The rain will come to an end in the late morning or afternoon. Highs will be in the 40’s and 50’s.

Wednesday through Friday will then be nice with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s Wednesday and Thursday, and the upper 50’s to low 60’s Friday.

Saturday there will be increasing cloudiness as a cold front approaches from the west.  Highs will be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.

When the cold front reaches the NJ Coast Saturday night, a Nor’easter may develop and strengthen rapidly.  This will bring a chance of rain developing in the evening or at night on Saturday, possibly mixing with or changing to snow in Northeastern and East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Southeastern NY State.  The steady rain or snow should come to an end Sunday morning, then there will be a chance of rain or snow showers. There is a possibility of some snowfall accumulation in Eastern PA, Northwestern NJ, and Southeastern NY State, depending on how this storm develops. Check back for the latest information tomorrow morning. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday.

Next Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday and Tuesday.

Next Wednesday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain or snow developing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Thanksgiving Day will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Next Friday through Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Friday, the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Saturday, and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Sunday.

Have a wonderful evening!
