Monday, November 28, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Heavy rain likely Tuesday and Wednesday, then next week…

We will have one more nice day today with highs ranging from the mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low 50’s in Central NJ.

There will be a good chance of rain, possibly heavy at times, tomorrow and Wednesday as a couple of storm systems approach from the Southeastern United States. There could be some flash flooding. Total rainfall amounts will be 1-2 inches in most places, with some places possibly getting a bit more than that. Highs will be in the 50’s tomorrow and then will range from around 50 in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 60’s in Central NJ Wednesday.

Thursday through Saturday then look nice with highs ranging from the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island Thursday, the 40’s in most places Friday, and from the mid 40’s to the low 50’s in most places Saturday.

Sunday, we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a storm system approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will range from the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Monday we will have a chance of rain, snow, freezing rain, or sleet early in the morning, changing to rain, then ending in the evening. Highs will be in the 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Tuesday looks variably cloudy with highs in the 40’s.

Next Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Thursday through Sunday then look nice, but cold, with highs mainly in the 30’s and lows in the 20’s.
