Saturday, November 26, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Heavy rain likely Tuesday and Wednesday…

The weather will remain unsettled over the next two weeks with variably cloudy skies and a slight chance of a rain or snow shower today and tomorrow. Highs will range from the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low 50’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island today, and from the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Western Long Island tomorrow.

Monday will continue to be variably cloudy, but it does look dry. Highs will range from the mid 40’s in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT, to the upper 40’s to low 50’s in East Central PA, Central NJ, and parts of Northeastern NJ.

Tuesday and Wednesday a couple of storms will approach from the west, followed by a cold front Thursday morning. This will bring us a chance of rain both days, and the rain could be heavy at times with some flash flooding possible. Right now, it looks as if 1-2 inches of rain will be possible both Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will range from the mid to upper 40’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid to upper 50’s in Central NJ Tuesday, and in the 40’s Wednesday, except some low 50’s will be likely in Central NJ and on Eastern Long Island.

Thursday there will be a chance of a shower early in the morning, then clearing. Highs will range from around 50 in Northeastern PA to the upper 50’s in Central NJ.

Friday through next Sunday then look variably cloudy with a slight chance of a rain or snow shower each day. Highs will be mainly in the 40’s.

Next Monday and Tuesday there will be a chance of a storm system forming along the East Coast. This would bring us a chance of rain or snow next Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Wednesday through Friday then look nice with highs from the mid 30’s to the mid 40’s.

Have a fantastic day!
