Thursday, November 24, 2016 - Evening Weather Discussion

Unsettled, but warmer next week, then the following week…

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Things will remain unsettled for a while, but it will warm up next week. Then the following week it looks colder with a chance of a snowstorm. Right now, it is just a chance though…

It will remain variably cloudy through Saturday morning with a chance of a shower and then there will be a chance of a snow shower Saturday afternoon in Northeastern PA. Highs will range from the mid to upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s in Central NJ and on Eastern Long Island tomorrow, then the low to mid 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low 50’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island Saturday.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a snow shower in Northeastern PA. Highs will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.

Monday then looks nice with highs in the 40’s.

Tuesday, we will have a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times, as a storm system approaches from the west.  Highs will range from the upper 40’s in Northeastern PA, Northern Orange and Putnam Counties in NY, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, to the upper 50’s in Central NJ and on Long Island.

Wednesday and next Thursday there will be a chance of rain as another storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s Wednesday and from the upper 50’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 60’s in Central NJ next Thursday.

Next Friday and Saturday look nice with highs the 40’s next Friday and the low to mid 40’s next Saturday.

Next Sunday and Monday look cooler with a chance of a snow shower as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday and Monday.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a storm system may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
