Tuesday, November 22, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

A bit of wintry weather possible Thanksgiving Morning…

The weather will remain unsettled for the next week…

Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ.

Tomorrow there will be increasing cloudiness late in the day with highs ranging from the upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 40’s in Central NJ.

Thanksgiving Day will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower, especially in the morning in northern sections, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s along the coast.

Friday there will be a chance of rain in the afternoon and evening as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will range from the low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s in Central NJ.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a rain or snow shower. Highs will be in the 40’s.

Sunday should be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 40’s.

Monday through next Wednesday morning will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will range from the low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s in Central NJ and on Long Island Monday, warming to the 50’s next Tuesday and the 60’s next Wednesday, as warm air surges northward into our area ahead of an approaching cold front.

Next Thursday through Sunday then look nice with highs in the 40’s.

Next Monday there will be increasing cloudiness with a chance of a late day shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
