There was a small earthquake recorded about a half mile north of Morris Plains NJ this afternoon. It measured 1.3 on the Richter Scale and was centered close to the intersections of Rt. 10 and Rt. 287. Click here to view the earthquake map from USGS.
The chance for showers will continue tomorrow and Monday, especially Monday morning as a disturbance moves through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday and the 50’s to mid 60’s Monday.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower, especially at night. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to upper 60’s.
Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Wednesday and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Thursday.
Friday there will be increasing cloudiness with a chance of showers developing in the afternoon and evening as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Saturday there will be a chance of showers ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 40’s and 50’s.
Next Sunday and Monday then look nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Sunday and the 50’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday looks variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Next Wednesday and Thursday then look nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’’s next Wednesday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday.
Next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 50’s.
