Monday, April 24, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Rain tomorrow, then WARM to end the week…

A storm system is approaching our area from the Southeastern United States today. This storm will bring mainly Central NJ a chance of a shower late today and then will bring our entire area a chance of rain tomorrow and showers Wednesday. Highs will range from the low to mid 50’s in Central NJ and on Long Island, to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, today, to the 50’s tomorrow, and the mid 50’s to mid 60’s Wednesday.

Thursday through Sunday will then be variably cloudy with at least a slight chance of a shower each day, and possibly a thunderstorm Sunday. It will be warmer with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Thursday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s along the coast and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s inland Friday, the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday, and the 60’s along the coast and on Long Island and the 70’s and 80’s inland Sunday.

Next Monday clouds will increase with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon or at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s along the coast and on Long Island and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s inland.

Next Tuesday through Thursday then look nice with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.

Next Saturday and Sunday then look nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Saturday and the 60’s next Sunday.
