Saturday, September 23, 2017 - Evening Weather Discussion

Record-breaking highs possible tomorrow/Monday…

It will be nice tomorrow through Tuesday with record-breaking high temperatures possible in some locations with highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s along the coast and the mid 80’s to low 90’s inland tomorrow, the mid to upper 70’s along the coast and the 80’s to low 90’s inland Monday, and the mid to upper 70’s along the coast and on Long Island and the low to mid 80’s inland Tuesday.

Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s along the coast and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s inland.

Maria could threaten the coast of North Carolina, but should be pushed out to sea by the cold front on Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday will then be nice with highs ranging from the mid 60’s to low 70’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 70’s to low 80’s in Central NJ Thursday, dropping to the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Friday.

Next Saturday looks variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a Nor’easter may form along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 60’s.

Next Sunday through Friday then look nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Sunday, the 60’s next Monday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Wednesday through Friday.
