Friday, July 20, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

Say goodbye to the nice weather…

Clouds will increase tomorrow with rain developing in the afternoon and evening from south to north as a strong disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United States. The rain will become heavy at times late tomorrow night, with some flash flooding possible in parts of our area, especially in East Central and Northeastern PA and Central and Northern NJ where as much as 3 inches or more of rain will be possible in some locations. Highs tomorrow will be in the 70’s.

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon and at night. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Monday through Thursday showers or thunderstorms will be likely as a very moist air flow will develop in our area between two strong high pressure areas. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s and 80’s.

Next Saturday and Sunday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Monday there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Tuesday through Thursday are then looking nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
