Friday, July 20, 2018 - Morning Weather Discussion

Our last day of nice weather until next weekend…

We will have one more spectacular day today with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow clouds will increase with rain developing in the afternoon and at night from south to north as a strong disturbance develops along the Southeastern Coast of the United States and then moves northward through our area. The rain could be heavy at times and some flash flooding could occur as more than 3 inches of rain could fall in isolated locations. Highs tomorrow will be in the 70’s.

Sunday, showers and possibly thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and continue through the evening as a moist air flow moves into our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Monday through Thursday showers will then be likely as a moist air flow remains in our area as we will be sandwiched between two strong high pressure areas, one off the Southeastern United States Coast, and one in the Mid-Western States. The air flow around these two strong high pressure areas will cause several strong disturbances and a very moist flow of air to pass through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s Monday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s Tuesday through Thursday.

Next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Saturday through Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Saturday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday through Tuesday.

Next Wednesday is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of showers as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Thursday should then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Have a fantastic day!
