Saturday, July 21, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

A very unsettled week ahead of us…

Rain will continue to develop from south to north this evening as a strong disturbance rides northward along the Middle Atlantic Coast and through our area tonight. Some flooding is possible as there will be a general 1-3 inches of rain throughout most of our area.

Tomorrow through Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance for showers or thunderstorms each day. A moist flow of air will develop over our area, resulting from us being sandwiched between two strong high pressure areas that will funnel disturbances through our area continuously. A cold front will finally pass through our area Friday. Highs will be mainly in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Saturday through Friday then look nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
