Monday, September 17, 2018 - Morning Weather Discussion

Remnants of Florence today/tomorrow; some flooding possible...

The remnants of Florence will be passing through our area today and tomorrow, bringing showers and thunderstorms that could be heavy at times tonight, with up to 3 inches of rain possible in some locations, which could cause some flooding. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Thursday and Friday are then looking variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Thursday and then again Friday night, as a cold front approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Thursday and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Friday.

Saturday is then looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s and 70’s.

Sunday will be cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times, as a cold front and strong disturbance pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Monday through Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the 60’s next Monday and Tuesday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday through Saturday are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday and Friday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday.

Next Sunday is then looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
