Sunday, September 16, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

Remnants of Florence approaching; flooding possible for some of us…

The remnants of Florence will reach our area tomorrow, bringing a chance for showers or thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and at night. Highs tomorrow will be in the 70’s.

Tuesday there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorm in the morning that could be heavy at times, followed by clearing. There could be some flooding in Northeastern PA, where 2- 4 inches of rain could fall. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Wednesday through Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a cold front slowly approaches our area.  Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Wednesday, the upper 60’s and 70’s Thursday, and the upper 70’s and 80’s Friday.

Saturday is then looking nice with highs in the 70’s.

Next Sunday then looks cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Next Monday through Wednesday then look nice with highs in the 60’s next Monday and Tuesday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday

Next Thursday through Saturday then look variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Friday, and the 60’s next Saturday.
