Potential Tropical System to Watch for Next Weekend...

It is now starting to appear as if a tropical storm or hurricane could develop in the Northern Gulf of Mexico next Friday, then head across the Florida Peninsula, and into the warm Gulf Stream waters off the Southeastern United States, strengthening, then heading up the coast and possibly merging with a disturbance that will be approaching from the west.

It is much too early to tell if this will happen like this at all, but it definitely could, and it does have the potential to have some effects on our area as well.
