Friday, January 11, 2019 - Evening Weather Discussion

Significant snow for South Jersey, but how about the rest of us?

A storm is heading eastward from the Central Plains as we speak. This will bring heavy snow to Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, and likely into Southern NJ. The Polar Vortex will however keep the storm south of the Allentown PA, and New York City Metropolitan areas for the most part.

Tomorrow clouds will increase with a chance of some light snow or flurries developing at night as a storm system approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Sunday there will be a chance of light snow or flurries ending in the morning, followed by clearing, as the storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Monday through Thursday are then looking nice with highs in the low to mid 30’s Monday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s Tuesday and Wednesday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s Thursday.

Next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a storm system approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Sunday there will be a chance of rain or snow as the storm system passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s.

Next Monday through Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the upper teens to mid 20’s next Monday, the 20’s next Tuesday, and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday there will be a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
