Latest Snow Map and Important Update on Weekend Storm

The American model has not moved any further north this morning and more importantly, the European model has moved further south, so this means that there is a good chance that the storm won't even make it as far north as the American model is currently showing. This would leave us with just a chance of a bit of light snow or flurries Saturday night into Sunday morning, but it is even possible that much of the Allentown and New York City Metropolitan areas won't get anything. This is exactly what happened in December and is a tough break once again for the snow lovers. The best chance for accumulating snow will be in Central NJ, but I am not even sure about them now...

More a bit later with the Look at the Next 2 Weeks and Morning Weather Discussion.

Below is the latest run of the medium-range American model, but again I caution that it is now looking possible that the snow won't even make it this far north.
