A strong Nor’easter will form tomorrow night, bringing Heavy rain and even accumulating snow possible in parts of our area tomorrow night into Tuesday morning…
Two disturbances will approach our area tomorrow, merging tomorrow night and forming a strong Nor’easter along the New Jersey Coast. This will cause rain to develop late tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening from southwest to northeaster across our area. The rain will become heavy at times, and there will even be some snow in parts of Northeastern PA, and possibly in far Northwestern NJ, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT. It will also become windy, with gusts up to 40 mph possible at night. There will likely be flooding in parts of our area.
Tuesday, the rain and snow will end early in the morning as the Nor’easter pulls away from our area. It will be windy, with gusts up to 40 mph possible.
After this storm passes it will be fairly quiet until next Tuesday night when the next disturbance approaches our area, bringing another chance for rain next Tuesday night and Wednesday.
