Thursday, April 14, 2022 - Daily Weather Discussion

 

Severe Thunderstorms possible later today, snow flurries possible in parts of our area on Easter Day, then rain Monday night into Tuesday morning… STOP THE WAR IN UKRAINE!!!


A strong cold front is approaching our area and will cause some showers and thunderstorms to break out in parts of our area later today. Some of the thunderstorms could be severe. Highs will reach the mid 80’s in parts of our area.

Below is the latest Convective Outlook Map from the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. Click on the image to enlarge. 


Tomorrow will then be variably cloudy and a bit cooler behind the cold front with highs in the 60’s.


Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of afternoon or evening showers as a cold front drops down through our area from Canada. Highs will be in the 60’s.


Easter will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower, sprinkle, or flurry, as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Monday, clouds will increase with rain developing at night as a couple of disturbances approach our area from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s.


Tuesday, there will be rain ending around midday as the disturbances depart our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Wednesday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 50’s.


Next Thursday, April 21st, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Next Friday, April 22nd, through next Tuesday, April 26th, are currently looking nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Friday through Monday and the low to mid 60’s next Tuesday.


Next Wednesday, April 27th, is then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.
