Chance for showers or thunderstorms developing late in the afternoon and the evening tomorrow, and then watching Tropical Storm Ian…

Tropical Storm Ian is moving westward through the Caribbean and will start turning northward, heading towards Western Cuba, and then making landfall along the Western Florida Coast Wednesday. The remnants of Ian may affect our area Friday through next Wednesday, depending on the exact track. There is a chance that the track could be far enough off shore to miss our area, but it is still too early to tell, so I am leaving a chance for showers or thunderstorms Friday through next Wednesday, October 5th.   Click here for the latest on Tropical Storm Ian from the National Hurricane Center.

Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle. Highs will be in the 60’s to low 70’s.

Tomorrow, clouds will increase with showers or thunderstorms developing in the late afternoon and evening from west to east as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle. Highs will range from the low 60’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 70’s in Central NJ.

Tuesday through Thursday will be nice with highs in the 60’s to low 70’s Tuesday, dropping to the upper 50’s and 60’s Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the remnants of Tropical Storm Ian may approach our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s.

Next Saturday. October 1st through next Monday, October 3rd, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms as the remnants of Tropical Storm Ian pass east of our area. Highs will gradually rise from the 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Sunday, and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday, October 4th and next Wednesday, October 5th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the remnants of Ian pull away from our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Thursday, October 6th and next Friday, October 7th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
