Severe thunderstorms possible again today, especially in Southern NJ…
There will be a chance for some sprinkles, showers, or thunderstorms today throughout our area and some of the storms could be severe, especially in Southern NJ. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow and Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow and the low to mid 80’s Thursday.
Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, especially in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance passes to our north and then a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Saturday through next Wednesday, August 23rd will then be nice, with just a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm next Wednesday. Highs will rise from the 70’s to low 80’s Saturday, to the low to mid 80’s Sunday, and the 80’s to low 90’s Monday, then drop to the low to mid 80’s next Tuesday and the 80’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, August 24th through next Monday, August 28th, will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be drop from the 80’s next Thursday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday, the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Saturday, and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday and Monday.
