Chance for some showers or thunderstorms through Sunday and Erin likely to become a major hurricane, but will remain out to sea…


There will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm through Sunday as some warm and humid unstable air will remain in our area until a cold front passes through Sunday evening. Some of the storms could be severe on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to low 90’s today, the 80’s tomorrow and Saturday, and the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Sunday.


Monday and Tuesday will be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Monday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s Tuesday.


It does appear that Tropical Storm Erin will become a major hurricane, but will mostly likely pass far to our East, off the coast. Click here for the latest on Tropical Storm Erin from the National Hurricane center.



Wednesday and next Thursday, August 21st will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm from Wednesday afternoon in Thursday morning. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Wednesday and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday.


Next Friday, August 22nd through next Tuesday, August 26th will be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday, the 80’s next Saturday, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Sunday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Monday and Tuesday.


Next Wednesday, August 27th there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
