Hurricane Erin is coming close enough to the coast to bring high surf and strong riptides to coastal areas, so if you are going to the beach stay out of the water. Click here to read the latest on Erin from the National Hurricane Center or view the image below (click on the image to enlarge).


Today will be nice with highs in the low to mid 70’s.


Tomorrow, showers will be likely, and possibly a thunderstorm, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and 70’s


Thursday through Saturday will be nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Thursday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s Friday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Saturday.


Sunday, showers and thunderstorms will be likely with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.


Monday through next Friday, August 29th will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Monday, the 70’s to low 80’s next Tuesday, the 70’s next Wednesday, and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Thursday and Friday.


Next Saturday, August 30th will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Next Sunday, August 31sty and next Monday, September 1st will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
