Snowfall totals, cooler over the next two week and NOT using AI-based snowfall maps the rest of the winter...
I won’t be posting anymore AI-based snow maps until they fix those maps. They definitely don’t work at all. While AI-based modeling is MUCH better overall with precipitation in general and placement of the various features, the snow maps are NOT ready for use. Now I know and won’t use those maps again this winter.
There was up to 6 inches of snow in Northeast PA with a couple of inches in far northern Sussex County, NJ, but the rest of us got mostly rain.

Moving forward, it will be cold over the next two weeks with lows reaching as low as the mid single digits in Northeast PA Friday morning. Highs will be mainly in the 30’s, although as cold as the low to mid 20’s some days in Northeast PA and as high as the low to mid 40’s along the NJ some days
There will be a chance of a snow shower in the afternoon or early evening Friday and again Monday and Tuesday.
Next Wednesday clouds will increase with a chance of some rain or snow at night as a disturbance passes through our area.
