Evening Run of the American Model
Shows what I have been thinking is a real possibility for this week. Possibly an inch or two of snow on Wednesday night, and a blizzard for Northern New Jersey and even New York City itself on Friday into Saturday, with more than a foot of snow and strong winds gusting over 50 mph. This is similar to what the European model has already shown on previous runs and is similar to what many of the other models have shown at one time or the other. Before we go crazy with this though, let us wait and see what the models do overnight. I will post an update in the early morning tomorrow. Let us see if it is still there, but I suspect that it will be. The model also shows no let-up in sight, with the possibility of snow until mid-April, and that is as far as the model goes out.
