IMPORTANT POSSIBLE CHANGES TO TOMORROW'S FORECAST!!!!

Unfortunately, the run of the short-range American model that just came out has changed the forecast for tomorrow in an incredible and potentially devastating way for Northern New Jersey! Many people have commented about the uncertainty of the forecast for tomorrow and the wavering back and forth of the models between what could be a nice day, and what could be a not so great day. The latest run of the short-range American model that just came out has changed tremendously from what it had on its past runs, including its previous run from only 6 hours ago! The latest run of the American short-range model now has rain starting again early tomorrow morning and becoming heavy at times, continuing throughout the day and into the early morning hours of Monday morning. Total rainfall amounts would be 1-2 inches throughout Northern New Jersey, which after the 1-2 inches already received, would be sure to produce flooding of most streams and rivers. This could be a very dangerous situation if the model is correct. This is currently the only model showing such a scenario developing tomorrow, but it is also the first of the mid-day models to come out. We will have to wait and see what the other models show, but this was an important enough change that I felt it was imperative that I post this update even before the other models come out. I will of course keep you updated.

  1. Do us all a favor and make sure that American Model is just a fluke. We could all use a half-way decent weekend!

  2. I know. I am crossing my fingers. But this is a scary possible development. It has always been a possibility.
