Monday, May 20th, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

Things should be much better today than they were all weekend, with just a chance of a shower, and it will be much warmer, with the highs getting into the mid to upper 70’s.  Tomorrow and Wednesday will be even nicer with just a chance of a shower or thunderstorm both days and highs reaching the low to mid 80’s tomorrow and the mid to upper 80’s on Wednesday.  Thursday will likely be quite a rainy day, with showers and thunderstorms that could be heavy at times as a strong cold front approaches our area and these showers and thunderstorms are likely to linger into Friday morning.  Friday afternoon things will then clear out, but it will also be much cooler, with the high on Friday likely to only be in the mid 60’s.  This coming weekend will then be quite nice, and a bit warmer than previously thought, although still quite cool in the mornings, with the lows reaching the upper 40’s on Saturday and Sunday, and the mid to upper 40’s on Memorial Day, and highs in the low to mid 70’s on Saturday, around 70 on Sunday, and in the low to mid 70’s on Memorial Day.  We will then have a chance of showers and thunderstorms again for the middle of next week, which could again be heavy for next Thursday and linger into next Friday, before clearing out next Friday afternoon and giving us a beautiful, possibly HOT weekend, next weekend, with temperatures possibly approaching 90 degrees.
