A disturbance will pass north of our area today into tomorrow morning, another, weaker disturbance will pass south of our area Friday, a bit stronger disturbance will develop and pass to our southeast Saturday morning, and then a strong disturbance will develop in the Tennessee River Valley Sunday. This disturbance will then move northeastward, likely reaching a point off the NJ Coast by Monday morning, bringing us a threat of rain or snow depending on the exact track of the storm.
Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or a little light snow this morning in Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, with a trace to a coating of accumulation possible, except up to an inch in far northern Northeast PA, as a disturbance passes to our north. Highs will range from the mid 20’s in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County CT, to the mid 30’s in East Central PA and Central NJ.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or a little light snow with a trace to a coating of accumulation possible early in the morning, except up to an inch possible in far northern Northeast PA, and on far Eastern Long Island. Highs will range from the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Central NJ.
Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a little light snow or a snow shower early in the morning in East Central PA and Central NJ, with no accumulation expected, as a weak disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Saturday there will be a chance of rain, or snow changing to rain in the morning in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, a chance of rain or snow in East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Southeastern Westchester County, NY, and in Southern Fairfield County, CT, and a chance of snow in Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, the rest of Southeastern NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, with up to two inches of accumulation possible. Lows will range from the mid to upper 20’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 30’s in Central NJ, with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
Sunday, clouds will increase in the morning with a chance of rain or snow developing in the afternoon and continuing into the night as a storm system approaches our area from the Tennessee River Valley. Highs will range from the mid 30’s to mid 40’s depending on the exact track of the storm.
Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending early in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s.
Tuesday through next Thursday, March 7th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s Tuesday, the mid teens to mid 20’s next Wednesday, and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Thursday.
Next Friday, March 8th, there will be a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Saturday, March 9th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Sunday, March 10th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Monday, March 11th, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.
Next Tuesday, March 12th, will then be nice with highs in the 40’s.
