HOT again tomorrow, with record-breaking heat possible in parts of our area, but I can’t believe how dry the heat was today…

It will be HOT again tomorrow with highs reaching the low 100’s in parts of inland Central NJ, but the amazing thing to me is how dry the heat was today. It was more reminiscent of California’s dry heat, than what it is typically like here in the summer. Usually it is very hot and humid here in the summer, but this was very different yesterday and today than anything I have ever before experiences in NJ in the summer. It was indeed hot, with a high yesterday of 95 at my location, and 96 today, but it was also very felt more like the low 80’s than the mid 90’s. It is actually kind of scary. Never seen anything like it before in summer.  It often gets warm but dry in early May here, but never before have I seen this type of dry heat here in the summer.

After the extreme heat again tomorrow in parts of our area, things will gradually cool to the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Monday and the then the rest of the next two weeks should be in the 80’s.

I am very concerned about the dryness. There will be a chance for some showers or thunderstorms at times through the period, but man of these chances did not produce actual rain here so far this summer in much of our area.  If we don’t get some rain soon we are going to have severe drought conditions with extreme forest fire potential heading into the end of the summer. As it stand now, I will have already had to use a leaf blower to blow away the leaves that have dried up and fallen off the trees by my house and will have to do so again in the coming days.

HOT this weekend, with record-breaking high temperatures possible in parts of our area…

The only real news to talk about will be the potential for record-high temperatures this weekend. Temperatures will reach the low 100’s in parts of inland central NJ and possibly into the normally wamer areas such as Newark, NJ, with the possibility for temperatures reaching the middle 100’s in these area.

So, please be prepared and check on the elderly. Keep outdoor activities to an absolute minimum this weekend.

RECORD-BREAKING HIGH TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND!!!

Well, the big news is the heat wave that is setting in through next Thursday in some places, with the possibility for record-breaking high temperatures this weekend, with highs possibly reaching the low 100’s in parts of inland Central NJ, and possibly into the normally warmer city locations such as Newark, NJ.

I am very concerned about this heat wave potential as we have been seeing unbelievable record-breaking warmth in areas of Europe, so the planet is definitely warming and we could see temperatures that we have not seen before in our lives, although I a am NOT currently forecasting that, the concern is growing as the planet warms. 

As far as precipitation goes, we will have a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm tomorrow, a slight chance Sunday, and then a better chance Monday through next Tuesday, August 2nd.

Well, the heat wave commences this afternoon in parts of our area and won’t end until next week sometime in the same parts of our area, with the culmination of the heat likely being this weekend when highs could break 100 degrees in parts of inland Central Nj.

There will be a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm Thursday, and then at least a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Monday through the following Monday.

Showers and thunderstorms ending tonight and then a heat wave tomorrow through next Monday in much of our area…

The showers and thunderstorms that brought flooding rain to parts of our area this afternoon and evening will be ending tonight and then we will have a heat wave to contend with in much of our area tomorrow through next Monday, July 25th, with highs in the low to mid 90’s in much of our area throughout this period, and possibly approaching or exceeding 100 degrees in some places Wednesday through Sunday.

Please be prepared for the heat wave.

As far as rain goes, we will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Thursday and especially next Monday, July 25th.

Next Tuesday, July 26th, through next Sunday, July  31st,will then be more normal temperatures wise with highs mainly in the 80’s to low 90’s, and with at least a chance of a shower or thunderstorm every day.

Showers and thunderstorms likely tomorrow afternoon and evening and then a heat wave is coming Tuesday through next Monday in much of our area, so please be prepared….

There will be just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm today, except a better chance in Southern NJ. Highs will be in the 80’s, except the upper 70’s on Long Island.

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with  a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning and then showers and thunderstorms will be likely in the afternoon and evening, ending at night as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s in parts of Northeastern PA and the 80’s elsewhere.

Tuesday and Wednesday will then be nice but hot, with highs rising from the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Tuesday to the upper 80’s and 90’s Wednesday.

Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 80’s and 90’s.

Friday will then be nice but hot with highs in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, especially in Southeastern NY State and Northern Fairfield County, CT. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Next Sunday, July 24yth, through next Saturday, July 30th, will be warm with at least a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm every day. Temperatures should gradually decrease from the mid 80’s to mid 90’s next Sunday, to the 80’s to low 90’s next Monday, and the 80’s next Tuesday through Saturday.
