It looks as if we lucked out with the rain yesterday. It did reach an amazing 62 degrees at my
location yesterday but we did not get as much rain as the models had been
indicating we might. The next storm will
approach on Tuesday, bringing more rain, but not enough that it should cause
any flooding concerns. Then another storm will approach for Wednesday, but it
now does not appear that the pieces will come together for this storm to become
anything significant, bringing us just a chance of some light snow, or light
rain changing to light snow on Wednesday afternoon and evening, with a dusting
to a half of an inch of accumulation possible.
Then another storm will approach for Friday night and Saturday morning,
bringing a chance of light snow late on Friday night into Saturday
morning. Yet another storm will approach
for Sunday night, bringing another chance for some light snow. At the moment it appears that there will be a
chance for more significant storms next week, one on Tuesday afternoon into
Wednesday, and another one Friday afternoon into Saturday. The track that these storms take will make
the difference between rain and snow, although initially both these storms look
more like snow than rain to me.
