Sunday, September 24, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Record-breaking highs possible today/tomorrow…

It will be nice through Tuesday and record-breaking high temperatures are possible today and tomorrow in some places as highs will make it to the low 90’s in some inland locations today and tomorrow, dropping to the low to mid 80’s inland Tuesday as clouds increase ahead of Hurricane Maria.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as an onshore wind develops ahead of Hurricane Maria that may come close to Cape Hatteras, NC Wednesday before turning out to sea. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Thursday and Friday then look variably cloudy, with cooler air moving into our area as a cold front passes through from the west. Highs will range from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 80’s in Central and Northeastern NJ Thursday, to the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Friday.

Saturday into Sunday morning will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower Saturday night into early Sunday as a Nor’easter may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Saturday and the 60’s Sunday.

Next Monday through Saturday then look nice with highs in the 60’s to low 70’s.

Have a fantastic day!
